An audit includes examining, on a test basis, evidence supporting the amounts and disclosure in the financial statements, assessing the accounting principles used and significant estimates made by management and evaluating the overall financial statement presentation. Irshadullah Patwary & Co. offers audit services of financial statements of companies, partnerships, societies, NGO’s etc. Irshadullah Patwary & Co. conducts audit of clients in accordance with International Standards on Auditing and relevant statute or conduct them as special assignments, where requirement of audit is not mandatory. These require that the Firm plan and perform the audit to obtain reasonable assurance about whether the financial statements are free of material misstatement. We also believe that our services, which are basically planned to enable us to express our opinion on the truth and fairness of the financial statements, should also result in highlighting to management, areas, where improvements can be
made in the organization’s efficiency and internal control procedures. Therefore, a separate letter containing recommendations for improvement in internal control procedures and other accounting related matters are also attached after the audit to help the client.
